Perfect location, easy to explore NY from here. Central Park is in walking distance. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The metro station is right at the corner. Comfortable beds, nice little kitchen counter with microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom is clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Terrible customer service. They didn’t clean our room 3 of the 4 days we were there despite us requesting this of front desk a number of times each day. The hotel room was filthy. I would never stay here again.

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, bed was very comfortable. Place felt slighted dated but that does add to the charm but some people may feel differently.

Location is good, near Central Park, Times Square, Hell's Kitchen, Moma en other several attractions. Easy to reach by the subway. The room itself was quite large, the bed was ok, there's a microwave.

Great location and few blocks from Times Square and Central Park. Very roomy for manhattan we had 3 teens and us in a one bedroom suite and it worked well. Very comfy beds. Great value for money and was quiet at night.

The location was excellent for enjoying Manhattan and moving to any city point. The hotel looks nice, and the rooms are spacious. The staff was helpful, especially one attendant. She solved the problem of the first night.

How helpful and friendly the staff where, if you asked for anything, it arrived to your room in 5 minutes, they gave great advice for eating and trips.The Location was perfect for walking to Times Square and Central park both within 10 minutes walk. The easy to use tube was a 2 min walk away. The room was huge, with a great hot shower/bathroom and the biggest bed ever, which was so comfortable. People have commented about it being dated, I prefer to call it old elegance. What you get for the very good price is well worth it, and I would return to here every time.

this is a very old hotel and one of the main reasons for staying is location and price point. all the other properties in this location are at least 20-30 pct higher in price. based on this -it would be considered value for money in this neighborhood.
